EDIT: Oh I forgot to add,the title is the title of a song that I think explains Bandit as of right now

Well I cant say much but Bandit's condition has been getting worse.:(

Also,as of a third and final time,Ive changed her markings for good.;)

I promised I wouldnt say much to Bandit and I cannot tell you where she is exactlly either.She's just taking a breather that's all.:shrug:

The first thing I notice in this piece is the sky, which is a shame, because Bandit is so pretty, all the attention deserves to be on her. =D Try a color that contrasts better with orange to bring out her markings... blue or purple, such as a night scene, would have made her firey colors pop wonderfully. :)

I see that orange outline around her, and I'm not sure if that is part of your style, if she has a glowing aura, or if you were trying to do some interesting highlights, but I'm going to make a shot in the dark here and say you were experimenting with lighting. That is very good, many many beginning artists do flat shading and don't take into consideration where the light is coming from. The sun is behind and to the left of her, as you drew, so naturally the light would fall on all her upper-left places. Putting the orange highlight only along her back and neck and her hindquarters would make this very three dimensional.

Excellent posing you did here. Her head is drooping, which helps to convey her desolation and sadness. I also like the way you drew her front legs splayed slightly apart, it makes her appear worn out, like she is tired of the direction she is headed now and just wants to stop and rest. The drop shadow under her body looks nice and smudgy too. :)

And now for a bit about porportions- Her near hind leg is much longer than the other. If she straightened out that leg underneath her, she would be standing very cock-hipped. :XD: Remember that the horses' cannon bone (the bone under the hock) is always shorter than their upper leg. Same goes for the front legs- there is less bone below the knee than above it, but all around, the anatomy on her front legs is pretty spot-on. :heart:

Nice job! :dance: I can see this is an improvement from the other pieces in your gallery. :clap: Hope that wasn't too much, and hope I helped you out! :)

Oh I see,that makes alot of sense.I agree that dang leg:shakefist::XD:I'll deffinatlly fix that next time.:)
